Tsuji has worked as a composer and performer for more than 200 productions all over the world. He worked with Estelle Parsons, the late Ellen Stewart, the late Jerome Robins, Julie Taymor, Sir Peter Hall, the late John Dexter, Andrei Serban, the late Elizabeth Swados and many other major theater directors.
He has been the house composer/musician for La MaMa ETC for over twenty five years working on with Ellen Stewart a countless number of productions since 1980, including the renowned Trilogy of “MEDEA” "ELECTRA" and "TROJAN WOMEN".
Tsuji composed more than twenty five hours of music for Kei Takei' s "MOVING EARTH" Dance Company alone. He composed and performed the Broadway production “ SALOME “ with Al Pacino and directed by Estelle Parsons, with whom he has also worked on "OEDIPUS" and "FATHER”. With Estelle Parsons he has also composed for the productions of "MACBETH" "NIGHT OVER TAOS" and THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT”.
Tsuji has co-arranged and performed the Broadway production “M. BUTTERFLY”, as well as the title music of the movie “ YEAR OF THE DRAGON"by Michael Cimino, "TRANSPOSED HEAD" by Julie Taymor, the 9 Acts Production “ TANTALUS “ directed by Sir Peter Hall with the Royal Shakespeare Company, "WATERMILL" directed by Jerome Robins with the New York City Ballet. “Window of The City” for the 2010 Shanghai Expo.
